New Royal Enfield Classic 250 Promises Big Performance and Great Mileage

Royal Enfield is all set to enter the competitive 250cc segment with its new offering – the Royal Enfield Classic 250. This motorcycle brings the brand’s iconic retro style and reliable performance into a more accessible and fuel-efficient package.

Classic Retro Design with Modern Features

The Classic 250 is expected to carry forward Royal Enfield’s timeless retro styling. It may feature a round headlamp, chrome finishes, and a single-seat option. The bike is likely to include disc brakes, dual-channel ABS, and telescopic front suspension, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride. Weighing around 180-190 kg, it offers a strong and stable road presence.

Powerful 249cc Engine Performance

Under the hood, the Classic 250 is expected to come with a 249cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine. It may produce 20–25 bhp and 20–22 Nm of torque. Mated with a 5-speed gearbox, it ensures a smooth riding experience. The engine will comply with BS6 norms, offering reduced emissions and better fuel efficiency.

Fuel Efficiency up to 35 Kmpl

One of the key highlights is its expected mileage of 30–35 kmpl. This makes the Classic 250 an economical choice for both city commuting and highway cruising. The fuel-injection system further enhances its efficiency and riding performance.

Expected Price in India

The expected ex-showroom price of the Royal Enfield Classic 250 ranges from ₹1.5 lakh to ₹1.8 lakh. This price point places it competitively against other 250cc motorcycles like the Honda CB350RS and Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
